University of Humanities and Economics in Lodz was established in 1993. It is one of the largest non-public institutions of higher education in Poland. In 2009, the University has achieved distinguished status of the Akademia.
The University has more than 20 fields of studies and offers a wide choice of courses, including 4 studies in English. Students may choose to study any of over 100 specialties. The curricula of the studies are constantly updated according to market demands.
One of the most distinguishing features of University of Humanities and Economics is that each student benefits from an individual approach to learning needs.
Studies at AHE in Lodz are unique in its model of education, used methods and content. Therefore, our offer is directed to creative, open and curious people. Joining the University they choose Technology of Creativity as a model for education, development and finally... life.
This new educational program we realize thanks to the enthusiasm and commitment of the young staff working in AHE. They conduct classes using project and workshops method. They work with entrepreneurs, prepare projects taken from the practice of economic, social and cultural life. Among the projects organized by students are numerous exhibitions, concerts, educational lectures, cultural events, dance shows or charities.
Our students and professors have at their disposal a well-equipped lecture rooms, a library, computer and multimedia laboratories, a radio studio, television studios, scientific workshops and exhibition galleries. There is also a canteen.

Multimedia, 3D Graphics, Game Art and Visual Communication – Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design.

The University of Humanities and Economics is located in the 19th century factory sites in the strict center of the City of Łódź. In those well-preserved, restored walls with a unique industrial atmosphere are organized educational, cultural and business events. This place gives students access to a wide range of cultural offer and ensures ease of communication throughout the city.
The railway station Lodz Fabryczna connects the city with Warsaw, creating a modern urban conurbation. Still developing infrastructure, international airport and the location on the route, connecting East and West makes Lodz a key town in the Central Europe. Thus, the city is not only an attractive place to study but also guarantees a job for professionals in many fields.
