General information

Warsaw School of Information Technology (WIT) was established in 1996. Its founder is Fundacja Krzewienia Nauk Systemowych that was created on initiative of president of Polish Academy of Sciences.

We constantly improve our curriculum. It includes new and continuously developed fields of computer sciences and IT supported management.

Functioning of WIT under patronage of Polish Academy of Sciences provides our students being educated by outstanding academic staff, that originates from departments of Polish Academy of Sciences, and particularly from Systemic Research PAN.

The most talented students of the university receive a scientific-research job offer at the Systems Research Institute (Polish Academy of Science). In this way, many graduates of WIT gain recognition in the scientific world.

How to become a student of WIT?

On-line registration : UBIK > Zapisy on-line > Studia and fill in a questionnaire in UBI, and then send it together with the required documents.

The questionnaire should be printed and signed.

Documents are submitted in the recruitment office. Foreign students can send the documents by email: rekrutacja@wit.edu.pl

Documents can be also delivered be other persons or sent by post.

Sworn translation of the certificate of A-level exam with annex into Polish language
Apostille of the certificate of A-level exam

Insurance covering the whole stay in Poland

Information about decision on university admission will be sent by mail which address is taken from the questionnaire at UBIK, within 3 days from receiving the required documents that are the basis of being accepted. The decision in the written form can be received personally during the signing of the agreement or by post.

VISA

If you need the document for visa for your stay in Poland send us the e-mail to rekrutacja@wit.edu.pl asking for such document. It will be send by post to the address supplied in e-mail.

SIGNING THE AGREEMENT

After your registration in our system UBIK and receiving the return automatic response, sending us to the address rekrutacja@wit.edu.pl the scanned documents and receiving from us the document for visa, obtaining visa for the Polish embassy – you can pay the first installment for the tuition and the enrollment fee. The agreement is signed personally by you when you come at the beginning of the academic year which starts in Poland at the first of October.

All of courses at WIT are in Polish.

From October foreign students of the first year (full-time and part-time) are provided for payless course of Polish language.

Enrollment fee for foreign students:

200 zł (about 50 EUR) for people who pay the enrollment fee and at least the first installment from 1st June to 31st July 2015.
300 zł (about 73 EUR) for people who pay the enrollment fee and at least the first installment from 1st August to 15th October 2015.
