We offer a wide range of higher education study programmes and courses at all levels, with an emphasis on first-cycle bachelor degrees in the field of Educational Sciences, Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Communication Sciences.
Geographically, UC South Denmark covers Southern Jutland and has more than 6,500 students and 700 members of staff.
Our study programmes take place at five regional locations: two main campuses in the towns of Esbjerg and Haderslev, and three smaller satellite campuses in Kolding, Aabenraa and Soenderborg. We see this regional dispersion as a source of strength. Embracing diversity for mutual understanding and inspiration is one of our central values: the meeting of different cultures and professional traditions; cross-disciplinary and cross-professional courses; and an overall emphasis on internationalisation, research and innovation.
University College South Denmark welcomes international students and teachers. We offer two Professional Bachelor's Degree programs in English, a number of courses and a summer school targeted at international students. We hope that you will enjoy your visit and look forward to hearing from you if you have any questions.

Studying in Denmark
The Danish teaching tradition gives students a lot of freedom and responsibility. Here is a description of which study activities, academic activities and learning types that are employed in professional higher education at a university of applied sciences, and also the student workload expected by the institution for each single study activity.
Please notice that our school year runs from mid-August to June.
Learning environment
At University College South Denmark, we are committed to create a strong and positive learning environment.
Our two Professional Bachelor's Degree programs in English take place in the town of Haderslev. The campus in Haderslev is a member of the Erasmus Student Network, ESN, which main focus is placed on exchange students, who face problems in their new environments.
Therefore, ESN offers help in the academic, social and practical integration process. See more
