Master of Science in International Management

Being able to conduct business internationally is crucial to the modern business world. With this in mind, we, at the Montreux Business University, designed the Master of Science in International Management.

This program will broaden the business and human-centered skills of our students, as well as cover the main functional areas of management to offer a cohesive understanding of management and businesses. In addition to that, the MSc in International Management will provide a highly integrated study of business and management; develop an understanding of the changing nature of the links between organizations and the external environment in which they operate.

By developing job-related skills of our students and exposing them to real-life problems, corporate visits and seminars delivered by executives, researchers and academics who are at the forefront of knowledge, this program will enhance the employability of our graduates and assist them in their first steps of employment or internship.

Duration: 1 year (3 semesters) + 6-month internship and thesis Credits: 60 US credits / 90 ECTS

Located on the shores of the breathtaking Lake Geneva and surrounded by the magnificent Swiss and French Alps, Montreux is an ideal location all year round. With its diversity, microclimate and spectacular landscapes, this city has inspired many writers, artists and musicians such as Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Vladimir Nabokov, Ernest Hemingway, Charlie Chaplin and Freddie Mercury. Even “Deep Purple” formed a lasting bond with the city – their song “Smoke on the Water” tells us the story of how the Montreux Casino, where they were performing, caught fire.

Montreux is only one hour away from Geneva – a global city, world’s eight most important financial center, worldwide center for diplomacy and home to so many multinational corporations’ headquarters.

Switzerland is located in the heart of Europe, which makes it easy for our students to travel across the continent during their studies and discover such places as Paris, Barcelona, Milan, Rome, Berlin, Munich and more in just an hour or two by either plane or train.

Montreux is widely known for its Montreux Jazz Festival – one of the most famous music festivals in Switzerland, if not Europe. Every summer – two first weeks in July – tourists from every corner of the globe travel all the way to Montreux to attend the festival. In addition to the Jazz Festival, Montreux also hosts two other musical events – Septembre Musical – a classical music festival and Montreux Sundance – an electronic music festival, which attracts world’s best DJs such as David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Axwell, Ingrosso, Martin Garrix and many more.

The Montreux Christmas Market, starting at the end of November and lasting for over a month, is listed as one of the most beautiful markets in Switzerland, as well as Europe. At the Christmas Market, you can find the most creative and fun gifts and try the amazing Swiss traditional foods, as well as the delicious hot red and white wine.

Montreux and its surrounding areas have more than 40 bars and night clubs, over 35 museums and art galleries and a choice between over 140 restaurants – from fine to traditional cuisine, you can find exactly what you’re looking for in Montreux!
