Life at Shrivenham
Our Shrivenham campus is home to Cranfield Defence and Security. It is a secure military site in partnership with the Defence Academy, Ministry of Defence, UK. The Campus has an excellent array of facilities and activities available to staff, students and their families.
During your time here at the Defence Academy you will be part of a warm, welcoming community and there’s no shortage of things to do, both on and off Campus.

There is strong competition for places on our programmes and, although there are no set application deadlines, we recommend that you apply as early as possible to secure your place. This is important if you also want to apply for on-campus accommodation or need to apply for a visa to study in the UK. These processes will take additional time after your course offer has been made.

How to apply for a Cranfield campus course
Courses within each of the following groups are primarily delivered at our Cranfield campus. Application forms for all courses are avaiable online; follow the pink apply button from the course page to reach the application form.
Once you have submitted your online application we will email you to confirm we have received it. Within two working days, we will also provide you with a username and password so you can access the student portal, EVE.

We only require electronic copies of these documents during the application process. Photocopies sent by post will be scanned and uploaded to your electronic record, and then destroyed for confidentially. Please do not send us hard copies of your original documents but keep them to hand as you may need to show them to us at registration when you arrive.
